Glessner, Louis - Root Cellar
This arched cave is built entirely underground with only a slight raised mound above it and is located behind a wood frame house. Its entrance is covered by a stone structure that is in really bad shape and in danger of collapsing. It was bad enough to prohibit entry to cave. It was apparent that the cave has a second room in the back. The nature of the cave and size is not entirely known, however, it opens to the south into the back of the house and is approximitley 16’(L)x8’(W)x 6.5’(H).
