Heptig, Joseph - Root Cellar
This native stone arched cellar is built into a slight slope to the southwest of a wood frame house. Although it's not clear it seems likely that it once had another structure built on top of it. The cave also features a ”potato shoot” on its north side as well as a large indention on the back wall that's purpose is unclear. A large stone barn stands several dozen yards north of the cellar and house. The cellar opens to the west and measures 16'(L)10'(W)x7'(H).
