Kramer, John - Root Cellar
This arched cave is built into entirely flat ground underneath a stone structure that doesn’t have a floor itself. It seems to have been built in order to cover the caves entrance. It is located on a property that has a number of other stone structures including a large stone barn. It was reported by the current landowner that the cave was used as housing for tenant workers. It has a long staircase descending into it from the north. The structure is created from very refined cut and jointed stone. It measures 14’(L)x7’(W)x 7’(H).
