O'Daniels, J.F. - Root Cellar
This injected concrete cellar is built into flat ground and is one of the last remnants of the O'Daniels homestead. Although it is clearly not native stone, it's shown in order to illustrate how home might have been made to be accommodating for lodging. Many cellar have been found with indications of once having had some sort of stove or fireplace. Not things needed or advantagous in a space intended as a root cellar. The cellar opens to the south and is approximately 15'(L)10'(W)x7'(H).
