Buell, G.W. - Root Cellar
This arched cave is located off of Deep Creek Rd. a few miles south of Pillsbury. The cave is built into a slightly raise hump to the northwest of a mixed wood/stone house. It is very skinny and might have been intended as a storm shelter first. It also shows that it's been used as a root cellar. The cave is coated with concrete but is very clearly constructed of stone. The cave opens to the east via several steps and measures 14'(L)x4'(W)7'(H).
