Westling, G.A. - Root Cellar
This arched cave is built into an embankment a ways out into a pasture northwest of Leonardville. It is the southernmost structure of a grouping of outbuildings and a barn. No house is present and it's not clear where the house once stood. It definitely didn't stand in front of this structure. The structure has a large window in the back that seems larger than needed for ventilation. This and the southern view might indicate its initial use as a dwelling. It's clear from the debris present that it's been used as a root cellar. This cave walks up slightly to the south and measures 18'(L)x8'(W)x7'(H).
